Trash and Water Service

TRASH SERVICE

Any trash generated by residents must be disposed of in any one of the large green dumpsters or recycling bins located throughout Bannockburn Village & Plaza as follows:

BANNOCKBURN VILLAGE

  • In the south parking lot at the end of S building
  • At the Loading Dock between M & J buildings
  • In the north parking lot between E & F buildings

THE PLAZA

  • In the parking lot near B building
  • In the parking lot between C & D buildings
  • In the parking lot "turnaround" between E & F buildings

Apartment trash may not be disposed of in the smaller trash receptacles located throughout Bannockburn Village & Plaza. Violators will be charged for the handling of this personal waste. Because of fire and pest issues, residents may not store personal trash or trash receptacles on patios, landings, decks or in front of your apartment door. Residents in violation will be notified and given a time parameter during which time they will be required to remove the item in question or be charged for its removal by Housing staff.

WATER SERVICE

Water service for Bannockburn Village & Plaza is paid for by Housing. Your conservative use of water is, therefore, much appreciated and will help keep your rent from increasing.

You can help us conserve water by taking reasonable showers/baths, turning off the water during shaving and brushing your teeth, washing only full loads of laundry, and by promptly reporting the following items to the Resident Services Office: (1) drippy faucets or showers, (2) toilets that continuously "run," and (3) continuously flooded areas on the Bannockburn Village & Plaza property.

In most cases, residents will be given advance notification of an intended shut off of water service. However, during emergencies (e.g. broken water lines), water service to Bannockburn Village & Plaza or to random buildings within the complex may necessarily be shut off without advance notice. We apologize in advance for these inconveniences and thank you for your patience while related repairs are in process.  Please feel free to contact the Resident Services Office for information about the status of any water shutdowns.
