All Bannockburn Village & Plaza apartments are equipped with standard light fixtures with functioning light bulbs. Replacement of all standard incandescent light bulbs when they burn out will be completed by Housing Services maintenance staff. Do not use light bulbs stronger than 60 watts because they exceed the maximum wattage limit of existing fixtures and pose an extreme fire hazard. Our maintenance staff will replace any burned out bulbs if you submit a Work Order at the Resident Services Office.
Housing Services Maintenance Staff will replace burned out light bulbs in refrigerators, ovens, stove hoods, and porch lights.
Please contact the Resident Services Office to have your light bulbs replaced.
All standard light fixtures must have a functioning, though not necessarily new, light bulb upon your move-out in order to avoid a replacement charge for each missing or burned out light bulb.
Please remember that the electricity that operates the lights in your apartment does not originate at your light switch but at an electric power plant. Power plants often generate your electricity by burning nonrenewable fossil fuel resources that contribute to air pollution. Be wise; conserve energy as much as possible!
The use of tall, torchiere-style halogen light fixtures in Bannockburn Village & Plaza apartments is PROHIBITED. These fixtures pose an extreme fire hazard. Residents assume full responsibility for any damages incurred as a result of these fixtures.
